169 Relationship between psychological stress and problematic social media use among university students: mediating role of depression
WANG Huizhe, JIANG Yongzhi
DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.2095-4301.2024.03.001
Objective To explore the relations between psychological stress and problematic social media use among university students, and investigate the mediating role of depression between them. Methods From October toNovember 2022, 376 university students were surveyed by using Chinese version of perceptual stress scale(CPSS), self-rating depression scale(SDS), and problematic social media use scale. The relations among various variables were analyzed and the mediating effect of depression was investigated. Results The total score of CPSS was 38.30±7.097. There were significantly positive correlations among psychological stress, degree of problematic social media use, andthe level of depression(all P<0.01). Psychological stress had a directly positive predictive effect on problematic socialmedia use(β=0.385, P<0.05). The mediating effect of depression between psychological stress and problematicsocial media use was significant(indirect effect 0.095 , accounting for 24.68% of the total effect, Bootstrap 95 %CI 0.007-0.82). Conclusion The surveyed group has a high level of psychological stress. Depression as a mediating variable affects the relationship between psychological stress and problematic social media use. The results suggest that intervening depression and psychological stress can reduce the use of problematic social media among university students.

SHEN Zhimin, ZHANG Yiwen, YU Xiaodan, YANG You
DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.2095-4301.2024.03.003
Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of integrated visual and auditory continuous performance test(IVA-CPT)in children with attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder(ADHD)at different ages. Methods A total of 604 children aged 6 to 16 years with suspected ADHD from March 2021 to July 2022 were collected. The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 5 th edition(DSM-5)was used as diagnostic criteria to retrospectively analyze the results of IVA-CPT. Children were grouped by age to compare the differences between the two evaluation methods(DSM-5 and IVA-CPT). Results The sensitivity of IVA-CPT was 60.00%-82.22% and the specificity was 51.28%-63.16%. There were average to moderate agreements between DSM-5 and IVA-CPT in the 6-11 years old groups(Kappa=0.275-0.407, P<0.05). The classification results of ADHD in each group by using IVA-CPT showed that the sensitivity of attention deficit type was 51.52%-75.00% and the specificity was 52.63%-68.89%; the sensitivity of hyperactivity/impulsivity type was 40.90%-66.67% and the specificity was 55.71%-92.16%; the sensitivity of combined type was 40.00%-62.50% and the specificity was 67.86%-91.38%. There were statistically general agreements between the two assessments in 6-10years old groups with attention deficit type(Kappa=0.238-0.374 , P< 0 .05)and in 6 years old group with hyperactivity/impulsivity type(Kappa=0.374, P<0.05). Conclusion IVA-CPT is suitable for screening ADHD in children aged 6-10 years. For children aged 11 and above, a comprehensive judgment should be made based on clinical observations and other test results. In classification diagnosis, IVA-CPT has certain auxiliary diagnostic value in children aged 6-10 years with attention deficit type. For children aged 11 and above with attention deficit type and children of all ages with hyperactivity/ impulsivity and mixed ADHD, it should be cautious to use IVA-CPT assessment.

DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.2095-4301.2024.03.004
Objective To explore the influence of transcranial direct current stimulation(tDCS)on the countermovement jump(CMJ)ability. Methods Twenty-one college students(ordinary college students group)and 17 collegeathletes(college athletes group)randomly received anodic tDCS(a-tDCS)and sham tDCS(s-tDCS)in prefrontal region under 2 mA for 20 min. After these two kinds of stimulation were completed, the CMJ data of these subjects were collected at 0, 10, 20, 30, and 40 min. The two-way repeated-measures ANOVA(stimulation type × test time point)was adopted to analyze the changes in the jump height, acceleration, peak power, and peak vertical ground reaction force(vGRF). Results There were significantly interactive effects between jump height and peak vGRF(stimulation type × test timepoint)in the college athletes group. The simple effects analysis revealed that the data at five different time points after a-tDCS in the college athletes group were significantly better than the baseline value and those after s-tDCS(P<0.05). There were significantly main effects on acceleration and peak power under the stimulation type among college athletes. There were significantly interactive effects on acceleration, peak power, peak vGRF(stimulation type × test time point) in the ordinary college students group. The simple effects analysis revealed that the data at five different time points after a-tDCS in the ordinary college students group were significantly better than the baseline value and those after s-tDCS
(P< 0 .05). There was significantly main effect on jump height under the stimulation type among ordinary college students. Conclusion In the prefrontal area, a-tDCS can promote the improvement of multiple indicators in the CMJ process, and some indicators have a certain degree of sustainability. It is expected to consider a-tDCS as one of the methods to enhance the CMJ ability.

ZHANG Bing, CHEN Yang, FU Wenxian, JIANG Cheng, ZHANG Wei, HE Kongliang
DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.2095-4301.2024.03.010
Objective To explore the relations between alexithymia, loneliness, resilience, and non-suicidal self-injury(NSSI)behaviors in adolescents with depression, and investigate the mechanism. Methods The functional assessment of self-mutilation(FASM), Toronto alexithymia scale(TAS), UCLA loneliness scale, and the Connor-Davidson resilience scale(CD-RS-10)were used to investigate 326 adolescents with depression. The relations among the variables and possible moderated mediating relationships were analyzed. Results Alexithymia and loneliness were significantly positively correlated with the NSSI behaviors, while resilience was significantly negatively associated with NSSI behaviors. Compared with non-NSSI group, total score of alexithymia, difficulties in emotion recognition and description, scores of extraversion thinking dimension, and total score of loneliness in the NSSI group were significantly higher, while the score of resilience was significantly lower(P<0.01). Alexithymia positively predicted the development of NSSI, while resilience negatively predicted the development of NSSI. Alexithymia influenced NSSI through the mediating role of resilience, and loneliness moderated the first half of this mediating model. Conclusion Loneliness, resilience, and alexithymia of adolescents with depression are significantly correlated with NSSI behaviors. Alexithymia is a risk factor for the development of NSSI, while the resilience is a protective factor in reducing NSSI behaviors. Resilience plays a mediating role in the relationship between alexithymia and NSSI behavior, with loneliness playing a moderating role.

225 A case report of nutritional supplement improving hypersomnia in children and literature review
HAN Xiaolong, JIANG Yanrui
DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.2095-4301.2024.03.011
A 7-year-old boy presented excessive daytime sleepiness for more than 3 months. He was diagnosed as idiopathic hypersomnia by doctor’s consultation, polysomnography, multiple sleep latency tests, and laboratory tests(serum iron 6.7 μmol/L, serum 25 hydroxyvitamin D 20.00 ng/mL, with no other abnormalities). In the absence of common etiology to explain the patient’s symptoms, we first conducted sleep hygiene guidance for the patient and provided targeted supplementation of vitamin D and iron elements. After 8 months, the child’s sleepiness improved significantly, with an increase in serum iron concentration and 25 hydroxyvitamin D level. Excessive daytime sleepiness is a potential danger for children, and in addition to considering common causes, attention should also be paid to the role of nutrient deficiencies.

239 Connotation, physiological basis, and intervention of dating violence
WEI Shujing, SUN Shengtao
DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.2095-4301.2024.03.014
Dating violence is a form of violence that uses physical compulsion, psychological force, and risky behavior to validate the affection of intimate partner, which causes serious harm to adolescents. The physiological basisof dating violence involves genetics, hormone levels(such as cortisol and testosterone), brain injury, and executive dysfunction. During intervention, we should change the victims’ cognition, guide peer and bystander behavior, and strengthen family support. Future studies should explore the relationship between self-cognition and victimization, and the mechanism of steroid action, and integrate personality pathology and evolutionary theory to comprehensively analyze dating violence.
