1 Medical service and education partnership intervention for attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder: presentation at health and education partnership meeting of American Pediatrics Annual Conference, 2014
JIN Xingming

Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a chronic neurodevelopmental disorder pertaining to the diseases with high incidence but low severity in the pediatric clinics, that causes various functional impairment. One challenge in the pediatric practice is family’s concerns about the medication used to treat ADHD in children or adolescents. We adopt an approach that combines clinical practice with medical education to putting the idea into the action. While stressing the elements of “4W”, we open up the dual channels between medicine and education, establish a medical education system to strengthen school referrals, participation, research and teaching practice through parents training provided by hospitals and partnerships between schools and physicians. This model allows the physician to provide public medical education of ADHA in schools, receive feedback from teachers during the course of diagosis and treatment, while intergrate basic methods of therapy into chlid education. Teachers may help physicians improve the objectivity and accuracy of diagnosis, participate parent training and family counseling. Parents may cooperate closely with treatment plan, improve the quality of family education; meanwhile during active treatment child and adolescent himself may improve his learning, emotion, communication and social adaptability, and overall quality of life.

16 A study on the comprehension of acceptation of ‘high’and ‘low’ in moderately retarded children
SUN Shengtao,FENG Jun,LI Yan
Objective   To investigate the comprehension of acceptation of ‘high’ and ‘low’ in moderately retarded children. Methods   Sixty-four moderately retarded children aged 7 to 12 were selected, and experimental study was conducted among them for the comprehension of acceptation of‘high’and‘low’. Results and conclusion   ① There were significant differences among three age groups on the comprehension of the acceptations of“high”and“low”. Children aged 11 to 12 understood these two words better than those aged 7 to 8 and 9 to 10. ② When taking the verbal tasks, children performed more sufficiently under a pure or a consistent context than a context of conflict. ③ When taking the operation tasks, children from three age groups showed no difference on the accuracy rates when asked to sort 3 objects by their heights. ④ Children found it much more difficult to understand the body high and low when confronted with a 3-object-arrangement task or a context of conflict than a pure or a consistent context.

22 A review of Phonological Architecture—Biolinguistic View
KONG Huifang,YUAN Jing
Biolinguistics is one of hot topics, which has aroused scholar’s interest from different angles. But little attention is paid to the study of abstract phonology within the framework of biolinguistics, not to say any empirical study or any theoretical model. As Ph D of Harvard University,Bridget D. Samuels conducted the pioneer study on the topic of animal cognition and animal phonology. The review will introduce the latest development of this direction and make comments on the merits and weak points of current study. It is hoped that the review will shed light on the future of domestic study.

26 Relationship between air pollutants and respiratory diseases in children
HU Xiaoguang,JIN Yi,JIN Jiangbing
Objective   To investigate the levels of different air pollutants in Wenzhou city in winter-spring season, and determine their relationship with airway diseases in childhood. Methods   During January and April,2013,the live air quality data from Wenzhou city were obtained, and the data from visits to the pediatric outpatient and emergency department in the Second Affiliated Hospital & Yuying Children’s Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University were also collected. The correlation analysis was performed to investigate the relationship between air pollutant levels and respiratory diseases. Results   During the study period, the average concentrations of PM2.5,PM10 and NO2 stayed in high level, and the level of CO was lower. The levels of air pollutants were lowest in February. Correlation analysis indicated that NO2 had the closest relationship with airway infection. Regression analysis revealed that 10 μg/m3 increase of NO2 might result in 3.5% increase of total outpatient visit quantity,4% increase of upper airway infection and 8% lower airway infection. PM2.5 closely related to acute exacerbation of asthma. An increase of 10 μg/m3 of PM2.5 might result in 10% increase of clinic visits due to acute asthma attack. Conclusion   PM2.5 is a major pollutant in Wenzhou city in winter-spring season, and the concentration of PM10 and NO2 are also much higher than acceptable level. The change of PM2.5 has the closest relationship with acute asthma attack, and NO2 might be the most important risk factor for airway infection.

31 Effects of medical service and education partnership intervention on rehabilitation of children with autism spectrum disorder in special education
DUAN Yali,JIN Xingming,SONG Cuidi
Objective   To investigate the effects of medical service and education partnership intervention on rehabilitation of children with autism spectrum disorder(ASD)in special education. Methods   Sixty-seven children with ASD were selected from special education schools. Gesell development scale for children aged 0 to 6 and community living scale were utilized by child health care physicians to evaluate the development level and community living level of children. Forty-eight children were classified into intervention group, individualized rehabilitation training targets were designed by physicians based on the evaluation results, and individualized rehabilitation training program was put forward and conducted by teachers in special education schools. The other 19 children were served as controls, and routine rehabilitation training of special education schools was carried out. After training for 12 months, all children were reevaluated by physicians with the same methods. Results   Compared with the control group, children in the intervention group made more progress on adaptability, language and social life skills after training. The intervention effects of children of younger age(< 7 years)were significantly better than those of older age(≥ 7 years). Conclusion   Medical service and education partnership intervention is beneficial to the promotion of development level and social life skills in children with ASD,and earlier intervention may be more effective.

35 Development of hyperscanning technique and its potential application in education
ZHENG Lili,CHENG Xiaojun,HU Yi
Hyperscanning technique is able to record brain activities of two or more participants involving the same social interaction task using hemodynamic or neuroelectric modalities. It can overcome the limited environment of the laboratories and lead to more ecological valid ways in social science and educational science. To date,it is widely used in social interaction situations, such as cooperation, competition, and decision-making. The synchronization or coherence of brain activities between multi-subjects may play an important role in comprehending and understanding each other. Since it is common for teachers to transmit knowledge to their students in education, hperscanning is highly applicable to measure the brain-to-brain interactions involved in teaching-learning process. This review summarizes the development of hyperscanning technique and its applications in scientific research fields, introduces the necessity and potential of hyperscanning technique to address open questions in the study of education, and discusses possible future research in the educational neuroscience fields.

43 Two-process model of moral judgment
REN Jingjing,JIANG Qi,LI Shufang
There has been controversy about the roles of emotion and reasoning in moral judgment. Over time, different researchers have put forward different models, such as Piaget’s rational model and Haidt’s social intuitionist model. However,Greene’s dual-process theory combines emotion with reasoning. With the deepening of research,Cushman finds a dual-process theory of moral judgment, which distinguishes two processes of moral judgment:one begins with harmful consequences and seeks a causally responsible agent, and the other begins with an action and analyzes the mental states responsible for that action. Future research is needed in terms of research material, special populations, geographical and cultural differences, and religious differences, for the systematic study of moral judgment model.
