Abstract Based on the construction of healthy China, the current state of mental health of graduate students is not optimistic, with frequent mental health problems and the triple pressure of scientific research, marriage, and employment. This article summarizes the current status and influencing factors of graduate mental health status, systematically analyzes the mental health education models of various colleges, proposes to innovate institutional mechanisms and to build a new model of mental health education service that meets the characteristics of graduate students. That new model is to change medical tendencies and enrich psychological education, persist in full participation and expand the service management level, integrate diverse approaches to build a characteristic psychology course and focus on professional practice and improve the quality of mental health services staff.
