Abstract Small for gestational age infant(SGA)not only affects the growth and metabolism, but also decreases the intelligence and cognitive level in perinatal and long-term periods. Intervention mode in medicine-education integration on SGA and infants with other high-risk factors can reduce or eliminate the abnormality of early brain development and prevent the decline of long-term intelligence and cognitive function.
