Abstract:Geometry is the result of human creative logic construction based on visual spatial perception. It is a core content in the mathematics curriculum of junior school, and plays an irreplaceable role in developing the students' space notion, geometrical intuition, and reasoning ability. Geometry learning mainly involves the brain's visual space network, semantic network, executive control and strategy network, and emotion network. Based on the cognitive functions of these networks, some innovative strategies of geometry teaching can be obtained: research-based unit teaching integrating intuition and logic.
