Research current situation and development of grip and pinch strength in children

Abstract:Fine motor skills are reflected to the ability of children to touch and explore their surroundings that they need to coordinate arms, palms and fingers. It is respected as an important content of the children's neuropsychological development. Grip and pinch are not only a basis for future development of fine motor skills in children, but also a reflection of strength and stability. So the evaluation of grip and pinch is necessary in the assessment of fine motor skills. This review summarizes the research situation and development of grip and pinch strength in children, providing a basis for the further clinical and scientific research.
