Abstract In recent years, many researchers believe that linguistic defects are not enough to explain the causes of developmental dyslexia, while cognitive defects such as executive function, selective attention, and working memory are the root causes of developmental dyslexia. Therefore, it is important to explore the causes of cognitive deficit and the intervention on developmental dyslexia children. Based on the theory of magnocellular pathway deficit to developmental dyslexia, this paper expounds the researches on cognitive intervention at home and abroad, and puts forward relevant suggestions for future cognitive intervention researches, in order to provide more accurate intervention for children with developmental dyslexia.
