Abstract Handwriting ability is the embodiment of the comprehensive coordination ability of the multi-system function. It is closely related to the sense of perception, cognition, and motion function. It is not only the means of children's knowledge acquisition, but also the important content of their learning. Handwriting ability is reflected mainly through the handwriting quality such as accuracy, clarity, and speed of writing. However, up to now, there are no systematic and effective writing ability assessment tools in domestic researches. It is of great importance to actively carry out relevant researches on children's handwriting ability in China, providing basis for further research and clinical work.
