Abstract The conflict between husband and wife is a manifestation of a negative family atmosphere, which has a greater negative impact on the development of children in all aspects. Marital conflicts can often be divided into destructive conflicts and constructive conflicts. Marital conflicts can be measured by parental reporting and children's reporting. The effect of marital conflict on children's emotions mainly includes parents' personal factors, family factors, and social factors. Interventions to improve the relationship between husband and wife include psychotherapy, group guidance, and communication skills training. Future research should pay attention to strengthening the two-way effect of the marital conflict and children, the adjustment process of the impact of marital conflict on childrens emotions, and the diversification of interventions.
