Abstract：Instructional design based on educational games is the most common way to trigger flow. It determines the definition, measurement method, and relationship with performance of educational game flow, but its triggering method has certain drawbacks. Instructional design based on cognitive load organization allows individuals to focus on learning content, and may also trigger flow experience. Future research should use instructional design based on cognitive load organization to deeply explore the relationship between flow and performance.
