Abstract Active physical activity, especially in active movement, has an important effect on obtaining optimal physical, psychological, and social developments in childhood, which will lay a solid foundation for lifelong health. This study collects and reviews several early childhood physical activity recommendations and guidelines from different countries, to provide the experience for developing the early childhood physical activity guideline in China.
