摘要生物语言学是目前国际语言研究的热点，但将抽象的音系学研究置于生物语言学大背景下的实证研究和理论探索并不多见。哈佛大学音系学博士Bridget D. Samuels 师从著名的生物语言学家Boeckx，其撰写的《音系结构：来自生物语言学的视角》一书对该领域进行了全新探索，反映了最前沿的研究成果。对该书内容进行简要介绍和评论，旨在为国内类似研究提供参考。
Abstract：Biolinguistics is one of hot topics，which has aroused scholar’s interest from different angles. But little attention is paid to the study of abstract phonology within the framework of biolinguistics，not to say any empirical study or any theoretical model. As Ph D of Harvard University，Bridget D. Samuels conducted the pioneer study on the topic of animal cognition and animal phonology. The review will introduce the latest development of this direction and make comments on the merits and weak points of current study. It is hoped that the review will shed light on the future of domestic study.
